 Formation Combustion
Autodesk Combustion est un logiciel, successeur de Paint & Effects, autrefois appelé Discreet Combustion, abbrévié C*. Petit frère de Flame qui en reprend des opérateurs tels le Discreet Keyer ou le tracker.

A travers cette formation complète à Autodesk Combustion 2008, vous apprendrez à utiliser ce puissant outil à l’aide d’exemples concrets et découvrirez l’ensemble des techniques utilisées fréquemment en production de films ou de publicité. Vous maîtriserez également les principaux outils du logiciel afin de réaliser vos effets spéciaux ou trucages.
OBJECTIFS
Cette formation permet une approche complète des techniques de compositing 3D, d’habillage et de trucage pour la vidéo. Devenez autonome pour réaliser vos projets.

Montage et post-production en 3D Relief

Description :

Ce stage offre aux participants – Chef ou assistant monteur, monteur-truquiste, responsables de post-production- la possibilité d’appréhender les spécificités de l’image stéréoscopique, pour pouvoir à leur tour développer et mener à bien des post-productions en 3D Relief.

Cette formation s’appuie sur un support de cours et différents documents ainsi que sur des études de cas volontairement variées (films d’animation, documentaires, attractions de parc à thème…) et met l’accent sur la manipulation de l’image relief à travers plusieurs logiciels :

  • FrameForge Previz Studio d’un part (logiciel de prévisualisation qui permet d’appréhender de manière très concrète la mise en scène en relief, son vocabulaire et sa grammaire, ses problématiques et ses principaux ressorts),
  • Avid Media Composer ou Final Cut Pro d’autre part (l’un ou l’autre logiciel de montage sera traité en priorité, en fonction des habitudes et des souhaits des stagiaires, sachant que la méthodologie reste quasi la même).

Objectifs du cours :

Ce stage de 5 jours propose aux participants d’appréhender les principaux aspects techniques, artistiques et narratifs d’un projet audiovisuel en relief, en particulier leurs impacts sur le montage et la chaîne de post-production.

Contenu du cours :

  • Rappels sur l’histoire de la photographie et du cinéma en relief
  • Etat des lieux des différentes solutions de visualisation/diffusion du relief
  • Quoi raconter en relief ? Quoi faire ressentir en relief ? Etude de cas et visionnages
  • Notions fondamentales : les caractéristiques et les limites de la vision humaine, la fenêtre stéréoscopique, l’influence de la taille d’écran, les repères d’échelles, l’importance des déplacements et des mouvements de caméras…
  • Prise en main du logiciel Frameforge Previz Studio pour le découpage et le storyboarding d’un film en relief
  • Principales problématiques du montage en relief : rythme, raccords…
  • La gestion d’un projet relief au montage :
    • Digit/Ingest des rushes et organisation informatique du projet
    • Principaux outils et plugins dédiés au relief pour les logiciels Avid Media Composer et Final Cut Pro.
    • Les diverses solutions de monitoring (écran relief, anaglyphe…)
    • Choix de l’œil de référence ?
    • Corrections des artefacts de tournage : disparités colorimétriques, optiques, géométriques
    • Modification de la plage stéréoscopique, harmonisation des plans et réglages des infinis
    • Introduction aux techniques et méthodologies de trucages en relief : compositing, tracking, camera mapping…
  • Aperçu des techniques de mise en relief de films 2D
  • Exercices pratiques sur Avid Media Composer ou Final Cut Pro, avec projection finale sur grand écran
